Scoring a century in the shortest format isn’t everyone’s cup of tea. Since it is the truncated version, the batsmen get tempted to play big shots and there might be risk factors involved in their shot selection. At times, when they mistime the ball, they end up throwing their wickets away.
As a result, it is absolutely imperative to be extra careful in terms of approach and build-up as the game advances. The ones who accelerate the game according to the situation are destined to get desirable results. So far only two batsmen have scored 10 or more centuries in the history of T20s.
