3 Indians with Most 50+ Scores in Asia Cup history-compressed

The Asia Cup is an international cricket tourney that features teams from Asia. For the unversed, the continental event was first held in 1984. Since then, it has become one of the most prestigious cricket tournaments in the region. Team India, Bangladesh, Pakistan, Sri Lanka, Afghanistan and others are part of the event.

Notably, Nepal announced its arrival in the Asia Cup in 2023. It has provided a platform for teams to compete and showcase their talent on the international stage. Among the teams, Team India are the most successful team in the history of the tournament as they have won as many as seven titles.

They have won six titles in ODI format and 1 title in the T20I format. On the other side of the coin, Sri Lanka comes next on the list as they have won six titles (five in ODIs and 1 in T20Is). Last but not least, Pakistan are the third-most successful team in the continental event as they have won two Asia Cup titles.

Indian cricket has been blessed with several superstars who turned up the ante when it mattered the most. In this article, let’s go through the names of three Indians with the most 50+ scores in Asia Cup history.

1. Rohit Sharma

Rohit Sharma is widely regarded as one of the best limited-overs batsmen in the world. He has won an Asia Cup title as a captain in 2018. The flamboyant batsman tops the list as he has ten 50+ scores in Asia Cup history, the most by a batsman in Asia Cup history.

2. Sachin Tendulkar

Sachin Tendulkar is widely regarded as the best batsman in the world, owing to his stellar contributions to Indian cricket in both Tests and ODIs. The leading run-scorer in Tests and ODIs comes next on the list as he mustered nine 50+ scores in Asia Cup history

3. Virat Kohli

Virat Kohli is currently the best all-format batsman in the world. The right-handed batsman is best known for his ability to assess the conditions before dominating the proceedings. He comes third on the list as he has aggregated eight 50+ scores in Asia Cup history.
