If a batsman misses the ball completely and then it goes on to hit the stumps directly from the bowler’s delivery, then it is ‘clean bowled’. Initially, the batter tends to middle the ball off the bowler but in case he misses the ball completely, he pays the price.
This is precisely the reason why the batters need to read the line and length properly. India have produced top-tier bowlers who have weaved the magic with the ball in clutch moments. Case in point, let us now go through the names of three Indians who registered the most bowled wickets in Test history.
