Pakistan national cricket team have produced some top-tier bowlers who went on to make waves across formats in international cricket. History tells us that fast bowlers have been immensely successful compared to spinners. When it comes to Test cricket, not many bowlers have managed to achieve success.
However, in the current era, they haven’t been able to relish the taste of success in Test cricket. Under Babar Azam’s captaincy, Pakistan failed to bring the best out of themselves. They finished fifth and seventh in the first two cycles of the ICC World Test Championship.
Case in point, so far in the history of Pakistan cricket, only three bowlers have managed to take more than 300 wickets in the longest format of the game. In this listicle, let’s now go through the names of three Pakistani bowlers who have taken the most wickets in Test cricket.
1. Wasim Akram
