Pakistan national cricket team are currently locking horns with the Netherlands cricket team in the second game of the ongoing edition of the ICC Men’s ODI World Cup 2023. The game is currently being held at Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium in Hyderabad. The Netherlands won the toss and elected to bowl first.
The Green Shirts ran through a batting collapse as the top-order batters fell prey to cheap scores. However, the likes of Mohammad Rizwan and Saud Shakeel steadied the ship by taking the game away from the opposition. The duo added a 120-run stand for the fourth wicket before both batters were dismissed for 68 runs.
In the end, Pakistan got some support in the form of Mohammad Nawaz and Shadab Khan who scored 39 and 32 runs respectively. Babar Azam-led Pakistan cricket team were bowled out for 286 runs in 49 overs. On the contrary, Bas de Leede was the pick of the bowlers as he accounted for 4 dismissals.

Pakistan captain Babar Azam had a terrible day at the office as he failed to bring the best out of himself in the team’s opening game against the Netherlands cricket team. He scored 5 runs off 18 deliveries at a strike rate of 27.78 before being dismissed by the Netherlands’ right-arm off-break bowler Colin Ackermann.
