Virat Kohli talks about Shakib Al Hasan’s challenge ahead of the battle
Ahead of the clash, Virat Kohli opened up on Shakib Al Hasan’s challenge. Virat Kohli is well aware of the struggles he encountered against Shakib as the latter dismissed him five times in the 11 ODIs, which goes to show that Shakib has been a real threat to Kohli.
While speaking to Star Sports ahead of the clash, Virat Kohli had something to say about Shakib Al Hasan’s challenge, “Over the years, I’ve played a lot against him. He’s got amazing control. He’s a very experienced bowler. He bowls very well with the new ball, knows how to deceive the batsman, and is also very economical,” he added.
“You have to play your best against all these bowlers, and if you aren’t able to, these bowlers are able to create pressure and increase the chances of getting you out. There are no big teams in the World Cup. Whenever you start focusing only on bigger teams, an upset happens,” Kohli added.
