Shoaib Malik, the former captain of Pakistan and a professional batter is facing a lot of troubles due to a recent no-ball incident. According to the reports, Fortune Barishal has terminated the contract of the Pakistani Cricketer. Shoaib Malik delivered three no-balls in just 1 over against Khulna Tigers and a large number of fans on social media and various news channels claimed that he was involved in match-fixing activities.
The incident occurred on 22 Jan during the 6th contest of the ongoing Bangladesh Premier League between Fortune Barishal and Khulna Tigers. In the first innings, Fortune Barishal made a total of 187/4 and in the second innings of the game, Malik came to the bowling attack to deliver the 4th over of the innings in which he delivered 3 no balls due to which the opposition got three free deliveries to play and three extra runs from those no balls.
Three No-Balls in One Over
Delivering three no-balls in just an over is quite rare in cricket, especially in international cricket where the chances of such mistakes are not even 1 per cent. His disappointing spell against Khulna Tigers has raised many questions about him and got every cricket fan worried.
Malik has already left the tournament midway stating personal reasons but as per the current scenario, Malik might have to face many troubles in the upcoming time if he is found guilty. However, there’s no official confirmation or announcement from Fortune Barishal regarding his contract termination but many news agencies and sources have claimed that he might not be seen playing for Fortune Barishal again.

Shoaib Malik also faced a lot of criticism on social media in the recent week regarding his divorce from Sania Mirza and his third marriage. Now the possible Spot-fixing event has created a lot of trouble for the player and his act has upset a large number of cricket fans from around the globe.
