India secured their third win of the ongoing season of the Under-19 World Cup by defeating the USA U19 side in the 23rd contest on Sunday. The magnificent knock of Arshin Kulkarni in the first inning had already taken India’s dominance in the game to the next level, and later on, the Indian bowlers performed their job beautifully to restrict the opponents to a score of just 125 runs.

Naman Tiwari broke the backbone of the USA U19’s batting order by picking up four wickets at the expense of just 20 runs in nine overs, including an economy rate of 2.22. He picked up the wickets of Bhavya Mehta, Utkarsh Srivastava, and Manav Nayak and also dismissed the captain of the opponent side, Rishi Ramesh, when he was batting at a score of 8 runs.

India U19 side will face the challenge of New Zealand U19 in the upcoming clash of the Under 19 World Cup 2024. The contest between both sides will be played on January 30, 2024, at Mangaung Oval.
