Former Mumbai Indians and Indian cricket team spinner Harbhajan Singh gave his thoughts on the matter and said they should leave this dispute behind and focus on the task at their hand, which is providing Mumbai Indians with their 6th title in Indian Premier League.
Harbhajan Singh opened up on a number of things, including the leadership of Rohit Sharma
and the problems of Mumbai Indians’ in an interaction with the Times of India.
Harbhajan Singh, fondly called ‘The Turbinator,’ was asked if Rohit Sharma would be comfortable playing under Hardik Pandya. In the reply of this question bhaji said, “Only time will tell. Who will be comfortable, or who will not?”
Harbhajan also heaped lavish praise on the captaincy of Rohit Sharma while saying that the youngsters were lucky to play under Rohit as a captain in the IND vs ENG five match test series.

While praising Rohit, Bhajji said, “Rohit Sharma is a kind of human being who is loved by the entire dressing room. The foundation of this young Indian cricket Team has been laid by Rohit Sharma. Virat Kohli wasn’t part of the Test series played against England. In the absence of a premium player like him, the way in which youngsters have performed is just amazing and commendable.
Harbhajan also said, “Youngsters came forward and took the opportunity from both hands. Credit goes to Rohit Sharma for the way he handled things and guided these young players. He showed trust and faith in them, which was quite amazing. He is one of the brilliant leaders. These youngsters needed a hand on their shoulders, and Rohit played that big role very, very well.”
While concluding his statement, Harbhajan said, “He was a captain and a big brother to these young players in the series.”
