Before the start of the IPL season 2024, when the whole of the world was believing the reports of rift between Rohit Sharma and Hardik Pandya, the two Indian teammates quashed them when they hugged and embraced each other before the start of MI’s season opener against Gujarat Titans. Ever since a number of things have happened. MI have lost three of the total matches played. The newly appointed captain Hardik has been booed incessantly and there are a number of controversial videos have emerged and fans got angry when they saw captain Hardik telling Rohit where to go and field.
Till now the scenes between Rohit and Hardik were not that good either. After MI lost the match to GT, Rohit avoided a hug from Hardik before the two engaged in an animated chat. There were a few more instances such as Rohit talking with Akash Ambani, and Hardik sitting alone in the dugout while the rest of his teammates left. However, as the franchise took a small break away from the game and spent time, a new video has emerged on social media platforms where Rohit and Hardik could be seen shaking hands. The clip was not that long but it completed its purpose.
MI Daily recent edition captures the whole unit of the MI at a pretty amazing place away from the city, where players engage in another team bonding exercise through various activities such as motorboating. The players were enjoying the evening along with the music as all of them can be seen quite happy before their match against Delhi Capitals on Sunday. With some cool clothing, it was evident that the players tried to drift their minds.

As MI play their second match at Wankhede, they desperately need a victory to not just bring some smiles back on the faces of their fans but also stop the booing. They are the only team who are yet to win a single game in the ongoing season of the IPL and no prizes for guessing, languishing at the bottom of the points table. Playing against the Capitals is the best chance for MI to break the deadlock as DC haven’t been at their best either. They are two runs above MI at 8th and after being defeated by the Kolkata Knight Riders two days ago, are right there for the taking.
Ahead of the weekend the team returned to Mumbai, where the returning Suryakumar Yadav linked up with the squad.
