Delhi Capitals has been all over the place in the latest edition of the IPL as they have failed to hit their stride and by the time they could register their maiden win, there was a lot of talk about how things could have been and how it has turned out to be. Currently the second highest run scorer of the tournament, David Warner has been under some serious questioning due to his lagging strike rate.
Cricket experts believe that David Warner has been all over the place and he needs to up the ante if there are any chances of him trying to survive in the IPL. There was a point in time when David Warner was being looked at in the highest of regards as he is the only cricketer to have won the Orange Cap a staggering 3 times.

However, it is all going downhill for the Aussie striker as he can barely get his chin up and his striking rate has been all over the place. However, David Warner has been the solitary man who has so far managed to score the maximum number of runs for Delhi while the other batters have simply been walking into the center and taking that long walk back to the pavilion, leaving Dave stranded in the center.

However, former Delhi Capitals captain, Virender Sehwag was ruthless in his assessment of the Aussie opener, stating that its high time that Warner faces the music now. He has been talked about in negative regards as he hasn’t scored as one should in T20 and from Indian cricketing experts to all those overseas analysts, they believe that Warner is now just a shadow of his former self.

Sehwag said in an interview, “I feel it is time that we tell him in English now so that Warner listens to it and feels hurt. David, if you are listening, please play well. Score 50 in 25 balls. Learn from Jaiswal, he hit in 25 balls. If you cannot do that, do not come and play in the IPL.”
