Mumbai Indians managed to turn things around in phenomenal fashion against the Rajasthan Royals in a high-scoring encounter where the teams went all guns blazing against each other and eventually a magical display with the willow in their hands, the five-time champions secured a clinical win against the might of the soaring Royals.
An unheralded Arshad Khan was the star of the Mumbai bowling pack with figures of 3 for 39 while Piyush Chawla registered numbers of 2 for 34 to help the Men in Blue restrict the opposition to 212. Former Indian batter, Robin Uthappa, however, was not pleased with the developments in the hut. The bowling display by Mumbai Indians have been woeful to say the least and the runs that have been conceded until now will obviously come to bite back the Men in Blue as the contest for the top four amplifies.
This is an alarming concern for the Indians and Robbie was not holding back his punches
Speaking to Jio Cinema, Robin Uthappa highlighted where it is all going wrong for the Mumbai Indians and unless they can get a hang of things, it would only go further downtown from hereon.
Willie said, “This game will make it feel like all’s well with the Mumbai Indians, but it really isn’t. They really need to figure out their bowling and how they finish overs because they’re doing fairly decent until the 15th over, especially in the last three games, they were on course to defend 170, and 180, and then in the last five over something happens and they kind of lose the plot. Then they give 60, 70, 80, 90 runs in the last five overs, which is diabolical for them.”
