Both Virat Kohli, the former captain of India’s cricket team, and Rashid Khan, the spinner for Afghanistan, are at the top of their games. Khan allegedly said that former teammate and captain Asghar Afghan took the bat that had been a gift from Kohli.
Khan told cricket.com.au that he enjoys collecting bats used by other professional cricketers. In addition to Kohli, he also received bats from KL Rahul (also of India) and David Warner (of Australia). Rashid is a huge fan of batting, thus he only uses bats made by the best manufacturers.
Rashid has stated his intention to use these bats to make some runs in the 2019 World Cup. Khan said on the internet that he used Kohli’s bat in a match against Ireland. He felt that there was something unique about the willow he was using to hit sixes for fun. Khan said that the ball was soaring for maximums even while he was aiming for a boundary.

Afghan approached Khan after the game and requested the bat. Afghan had already removed the bat from his equipment, surprising Khan. In jest, the leg-spinner hoped that Afghan would fail with the bat so that he could take it back.
Khan’s batting has matured considerably as time has passed. He is proving himself to be an asset in several areas. He just had one of the finest innings of the Indian Premier League 2023 against Mumbai Indians. Kohli has hit 34 runs off Khan in 22 deliveries with a strike rate of 154.54 in international cricket. Even after all that, the leggie hasn’t written him off.
Khan has a respectable record against Kohli in the IPL. The ex-RCB skipper has amassed 54 runs off of 46 balls, at a strike rate of 117.39. As of right now, the Gujarat Titans spinner has dismissed him twice.
