People have always been in awe of MS Dhoni, particularly with the way he has turned things around in stunning fashion, being extraordinarily calm at times and then there have been occasions where he has managed to also show the world that if he gets angry there have been no running away from the same.
In the circuit of IPL, Dhoni, however, has slightly been more angry than you would have seen him in the Indian colours. Well, it is never really easy, particularly, MS Dhoni who has been managing so many stars under the same roof, there is bound to be collisions and also the tempers seem to flare a lot more than you would expect.
This is how MS Dhoni seized the day for CSK against PBKS
In a must-win match against Punjab Kings, Chennai Super Kings chased down 193 where MS Dhoni knocked out a belter that saw him smashing 54 off just 29 balls. Following the victory, MS Dhoni showed a rare paroxysm of emotions as he smashed his helmet. In an interaction with Star Sports, Subramaniam Badrinath highlighted an incident that was unknown to the audience before.
Badrinath said, “I never saw MS Dhoni reacting like that in the past, nor I’ve seen that from him ever again. 2010 was an important year in his CSK career. Dhoni had missed a few games due to a forearm injury and I think we lost 5 games on the trot. We were in pressure.”

He further added, “Dhoni’s form wasn’t good as well. He wanted to prove CSK were a good team. Everyone was saying, ‘Yeah the team is good, but where are the trophies?’. In that game, Dhoni took his time, I forged a partnership with him but then I got out. In the last two overs, though, Dhoni went into a different zone altogether. In that very moment, we realised Dhoni is going to win the game for us.”
