In a tragic news, Rishabh Pant was injured in a major accident early in the morning and the incident unfurled while the Indian wicket-keeper was returning to Delhi from Uttarakhand. His car caught fire after smashing onto a divider on the Narsan border of Roorkee near Hammadpur Jhal. As reported by Dainik Jagaran, Rishabh will be transferred to Delhi where his plastic surgery will be done.
According to the doctors, Rishabh has been injured on his forehead and leg, even though the extent of his injuries has not been revealed. Going by the words of Dr Sushil Nagar, chairman of Saksham Hospital, Pant’s condition is stable and he is being referred from Roorkee to Delhi where his plastic surgery will be carried out.
Going by the words of the eye-witnesses as reported by Dainik Jagran, Rishabh’s car caught fire after colliding with railing that needed a great deal of difficulty in being brought under control. Pant was quickly shifted to the hospital following the injury, post which the treatment has started.
To make matters worse, this comes as a deafening blow to the Indian wicket-keeper at a time when he had a roller-coaster year, following a series of events and an alarming dearth of runs that had a lot of questions pouring from all ends. Only time shall reveal what is the true magnitude of Pant’s injuries considering the fact that the details are still to be exposed. However, whatsoever is the status, it is expected that he will be hitting the stride shortly, knowing Pant’s capability to bounce back sharper from even worser situations.
