The team franchise of the cash-rich Indian Premier League has been left unhappy that most players from England have started to pull out from the cash-rich Indian Premier League season 2024. With only a few days left, the players of England have begun to pull out from the tournament, much to the dismay of the teams. The players of the Three Lions are giving personal reasons for the management of their workload before heading into the ICC T20 World Cup 2024.
Be it Ben Stokes, Jason Roy or Harry Brook, all of these star players from England are pulling out from IPL 2024. Ben Stokes made it quite clear before the auction of the Indian Premier League that he wants to reset and will prioritise the T20 World Cup. As for Brook, he missed the final and 5th test match between India and England cricket team while giving excuses for personal reasons.
Chennai Super Kings received this information before the auction that Stokes won’t play. As a result, they made the necessary changes in the option, but this is a significant difficulty for other teams.

As of late, Gus Atkinson has also pulled out of IPL Team KKR. The England Cricket Board stated that the fast bowler would be rested for workload management. KKR replaced him with Dushmantha Chameera. On the other hand, Jason Roy had also pulled out of his team while giving the excuse of personal reasons. The Kolkata Knight riders eventually replaced him with fellow English hard hitter Phil Salt.
The IPL teams are angry with the English players pulling out of the mega tournament at the last moment. The England cricket board is eager to manage the players’ workload before the T20 World Cup. However it is also a big concern because if the players of team England do not remain in match condition before the mega tournament, this move can cause them big harm.
However, unlike other players of England, Jonny Bairstow gave respect to his contract with the Punjab Kings. The England wicket keeper and batsman will join his IPL team on March 18-19 and be available for the entire season of IPL 2024 despite playing all five test matches between India and England.
As per the statement of an IPL source, Bairstow will arrive in India on March 18 or 19 and will be available for his team’s first match against Delhi Capitals on March 23.”
