New Zealand won the second and last contest of the test series between South Africa and New Zealand by 2-0. The performance of the batting department of the side was very impressive in the second innings and the side comfortably chased down a total of 267 runs with 7 wickets remaining. 

In the first game of the series, New Zealand secured a win by a huge margin of 281 runs and now they have successfully chased down the total with 7 wickets remaining.

Considering the current form of the top-order of the side, the target of 267 runs was not a big deal for New Zealand. The openers gave a good start to the side and accumulated 40 runs for the first wicket, however, the side had lost 2 wickets at the score of 53 runs in 19.5 overs and Williamson came to the crease.

He made a brilliant partnership of 64 runs with Rachin Ravindra and played an outstanding innings of 133* runs in 260 deliveries with a strike rate of 51.15 including 12 fours and 2 sixes. Ravindra scored 20 runs in 72 deliveries while Will Young contributed 60 runs for the side in 134 deliveries and stayed on the crease till the end.

The bowling department of the side could not perform well in the second innings except, for Dane Piedt who took a total of 3 wickets for the side by giving 93 runs in 32 overs at an economy rate of 2.91. His performance in the first innings was also quite impressive for South Africa as he picked up 5 wickets for the side. 

David Bedingham played a very crucial knock for the South African side in their second innings but except a few, no other players could do much for the side. South Africa missed their experienced player in the game as the side was playing with a lot of young stars.
