After India’s unsparing aggression in the two opening Tests that saw them drowning a hapless Australian ship, the apex cricket authority of India announced the squads for the remaining two Tests and the ODIs that are lined up next. The Indian fans were expecting Jasprit Bumrah to be added to the line up but it seems that the management doesn’t want to endanger the ace quick again, taking their due time to allow him to get fit.
The third Test between India and Australia will be played from 1st March at Indore with the series finishing at Ahmedabad where the final Test is scheduled to be played on the 9th of March.
BCCI issued an advisory that stated that Rohit Sharma will be unavailable for the opening ODI of the series due to family commitments and Hardik Pandya will be donning the captain’s armband. India will be playing three ODIs against Australia that will be held on 17th, 19th and 22nd March at Mumbai, Vizag and Chennai respectively.
Jaydev Unadkat will be returning to the squad for the final two Tests while Ravindra Jadeja, who has been India’s prime game-changer in the ongoing Test series returns to the ODIs too, thanks to his superlative performance of late coupled with his years of experience and brilliance on the field.
