Latest IPL News: Australian all-rounder, Cameron Green has been making all the right noises of late as he bagged a mega deal in the latest auction of the IPL. However, that didn’t change the man that we all knew as the Australian all-rounder believes that keeping his feet on the ground is his utmost priority.

Recently he talked in an interview, stating that how he has been underutilized in the fabric of Test cricket but he was okay with the fact till the time Australia was winning. However, the dynamics changed, when his first Test fifer skittled out South Africa emphatically in the latest Test match.

In the post-day conference, Green said, “To be fair, I think I didn’t do much to kind of earn that. I just put my name into the auction, and it just happened. It doesn’t change who I am or how I think and all the confidence I have in my cricket. Hopefully, I didn’t change too much.”

He further added, “Definitely the players can bring you back down pretty quickly. It’s a good group that we’ve got at the moment. Everyone gets around you when they need to and can bring you back pretty quickly when they want to. I think everyone was focused on Boxing Day. It’s a fixture that you point out at the start of the year, and you look forward to so now that takes your focus 100%.”

Green will be joining the star-studded ranks of Mumbai Indians alongside Jofra Archer, Jasprit Bumrah, Rohit Sharma and Suryakumar Yadav while he currently is plying his trade for the mighty Aussies in the blazing international arcade.
