Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) President Ramiz Raja gave his opinion on Pakistan’s participation in Asia Cup 2023. He confirmed that if the upcoming edition of the Asia Cup is shifted out of Pakistan, then they will not take part in the next edition.
Virender Sehwag says T20 cricket is not the way forward
Former Indian opener Virender Sehwag made the headlines after he echoed that T20 cricket is literally not the way forward. The Nawab of Najafgarh added that Test and ODI cricket will stay because of ICC’s meticulous planning in terms of organizing World Test Championship and the ODI World Cup.
Rashid Khan reserves the highest respect for Shubman Gill
Afghanistan’s most valuable player Rashid Khan has reserved the highest respect for Shubman Gill while speaking to News24 Sports. Rashid Khan further added that Shubman Gill is one of his favourite players.
At the same time, he also predicted that Gill will have a bright future and that he go on to become a big batter for India and achieve plenty of things in the future.
Virat Kohli and Rohit Sharma hit the nets ahead of the ODI series against Bangladesh
Indian stalwarts namely Virat Kohli and Rohit Sharma were spotted hitting the nets ahead of the upcoming three-match ODI series against Bangladesh. Both the senior players were rested for India’s tour of New Zealand recently. Currently, they are in Bangladesh gearing up for the ODI series now.
Rohit Sharma and Co will play three One-Day Internationals followed by the two-match Test series. The tour begins with the ODI series, with the first game slated to be played on December 4 (Sunday). The venue of the game is at Sher-e-Bangla National Cricket Stadium.
