Virat Kohli is one of the most emotional cricketers on the field and he wears his heart on his sleeves. The former Indian captain has made no attempt to ever hide his true feelings. The latest addition to the list was that of Najmul Hossain Shanto as he got screamed at by the former Indian captain.
This was an incident that transpired on the second day of the contest towards it’s toe end as the Bangladeshi batters were hellbent on finishing the day without losing any wickets. However, the problem happened when Shanto went a hit off his rails.
Following the fifth ball of the sixth over, Najmul Hossain got down to tie his laces. This frustrated Virat and he made a gesture towards Manto to take off his jersey too as he was heard saying in the video “aap kapde bhi utad do (open your clothes too)”.
This however, wasn’t the only time that Shanto wanted to defer proceedings. Earlier in the second over he did wanted a change of bat and out of all the bats that the 12th man did bring out, he continued to bat with the one that he was batting.
India started Day 2 on a silent note but started losing wickets early that needed a staunch shift from Rishabh Pant and Shreyas Iyer to take care of. However, once Pant and Iyer took over the reins, India got the upper hand and left Bangladesh twisted in their own knock. At the time of writing Bangladesh is currently locked at 113 for the loss of 6.
