Iga Swiatek Confesses She Is Not The Type Of Player That Wins The Majority Of Her Points From Serves

Iga Swiatek has acknowledged that she lacks Aryna Sabalenka's and Elena Rybakina's proficiency in winning points with serves.

As opposed to serving, Swiatek is renowned for her returns. The World No. 1 presently holds the record for the fastest forehand and backhand strokes on the tour.

Her backhand speed peaked at 76 mph in the 2022 French Open, making her the fastest female player in the field.

Her forehand top-spin reached 3,453 rpm. She has, however, frequently struggled to control her match via serves.

Swiatek stated that she "is not Rybakina or Sabalenka" to win points with serve,

but rather someone who does so through rallies during the post-match news conference at the Qatar Open.

She did, however, indicate a desire to improve her service going forward.
