R Ashwin dismissed Steve Smith for a duck in the 2nd IND vs AUS Test

During the first innings of the second Test match between India and Australia in Delhi, off-spinner Ravichandran Ashwin removed Australian batsman Steve Smith for a two-ball duck.

As Marnus Labuschagne was dismissed, the previous captain took the field at No. 4. 

He moved swiftly down the field to block the first ball before stopping to defend the following one. 

He nonetheless tried a stroke in anticipation of a turn as Ashwin threw the slider while moving around the wicket.

KS Bharat took the loose stroke with the gloves from behind the stumps despite the ball not even moving an inch. 

This was the star batter's second defeat of India and his fourth duck since 2022.
