RCB vs. DC, WPL 2023: RCB Player Ratings as Smriti Mandhana and Co. drop like flies following awful bowling performance

Sunday, March 5 at the Brabourne Stadium in Mumbai, the Delhi Capitals (DC) defeated the Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB)

by 60 runs in Match 2 of the 2023 Women's Premier League (WPL).

Shafali Verma and Meg Lanning, the Caps' openers, led the pace with 84 and 72 runs, respectively.

They were aided by Marizanne Kapp and Jemimah Rodrigues, who performed charming cameos to help DC reach 223/2.

Tara Norris scalped five wickets to earn the title for Player of the Match. As a result, the chasing RCB team was never in contention.

Smriti was the leading scorer for the RCB with 35 runs, however her dismissal shot was quite tame.

In addition, she was criticized for her mediocre leadership as DC raced away with the game.

The captain cannot allow her bowling changes and field placements to be so subpar.
