Reema Malhotra believes the Gujarat Giants (GG) will seek retribution for their Women's Premier League (WPL) 2023 season-opening thrashing at the hands of the Mumbai Indians (MI).
On March 14, the Giants will face Harmanpreet Kaur and company at the Brabourne Stadium in Mumbai.
In their last match at the DY Patil Stadium in Navi Mumbai, the top-ranked squad dealt the fourth-placed club a 143-run thrashing.
When previewing the game on Sports 18, Malhotra said that a fresh location may provide the Gujarat Giants with an opportunity to avenge their loss to the Mumbai Indians.
The Mumbai Indians won the first game by a large margin, but here is an opportunity to get retribution.
This game will be played in the Brabourne Stadium as opposed to the DY Patil Stadium, thus it will be interesting to watch whether the tale changes.
