The Medical Team Will Evaluate David Warner Before The ODI Series Against India

David Warner, the opening batsman for Australia, will need a medical okay before he can play in the forthcoming three-match ODI series against India,

which starts on March 17. The southpaw's Border-Gavaskar Trophy run was ended after

he suffered a concussion and a hairline fracture during the second Test in Delhi.

During the remainder of the Test, which Australia lost and so forfeited the Border-Gavaskar series,

he went home and was replaced by Matt Renshaw.

Before departing for India for the ODI series and the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2023 season, Warner finished his last recovery sessions.

On Friday, March 10, eight members of the Australian ODI team landed in India and trained alongside the Test and ODI squad members in Ahmedabad, where the fourth and final Test was played.
