Wrestling Legend Weighs in On if WWE Is Burying Drew Mcintyre's Old Opponent

In February 2020, Kross agreed to join the Stamford-based business. Before WWE released him from his contract in November 2021,

he had competed on NXT and Monday Night RAW for less than two years. But in August of last year, Kross and his wife Scarlett joined SmackDown once more.

Since then, the former NXT Champion has fought with Rey Mysterio and Drew McIntyre. On SmackDown, he recently fell short against Mysterio.

Additionally, the 37-year-old was the second man eliminated from the Men's Royal Rumble contest.

On Keepin' It 100, Konnan responded to a listener's query on the possibility of Kross's burial by WWE.

I simply think he had a match, you know. He has a fantastic appearance. He knows how to make a commercial. He has a fantastic act with Scarlett.

I believe he and Drew [McIntyre] didn't click for whatever reason... then they placed him with Rey and they're in their third or second battle and he's already beaten.

I'm not sure if they're going to finish it there or continue it. And I'm ok with the surprise since I'm sick of every completion being interrupted or distracted.

But I'm not sure what they're going to do with him. But he's only one good quarrel away from blowing up. "He's got everything," he remarked.
