David Warner, an Australian batter, has a lot of fans in Hyderabad. Sunrisers Hyderabad, captained by Warner, won the 2016 Indian Premier League. Warner gained a large following in 2020 when he made TikTok videos and Instagram reels set to Indian tunes during the shutdown.
When Warner first began developing short-form entertainment, he only knew three Indian songs: “Sheila ki Jawani,” “Main Tera Hero,” and “Chammak Challo,” he told host Gaurav Kapoor on the programme Breakfast with Champions. Later, some of his Hyderabadi followers requested he creates a video for the song “Butta Bomma,” and the clip quickly became an internet sensation.
Warner’s influence and production value in the realm of Telugu music are both enormous. He said on-air that he wants to play the bad guy in a Telugu film. He also assembled a dream cast full of A-list actors and actresses. Warner hoped to work with recognisable stars like Mahesh Babu, Allu Arjun, and Rashmika Mandhana in an upcoming film. They’re all big names in Telugu cinema. The Southpaw has previously shown an interest in portraying a villain.
