1. Hashim Amla
Former Proteas international Hashim Amla was one of the best batters in the world during the playing days of his cricketing journey. Hashim Amla has played 16 games in the IPL wherein he scored 577 runs at an average of 44.4. He scored two centuries and three fifties. Unfortunately, those two centuries he scored came in a losing cause.

2. Sanju Samson
Sanju Samson is the caption of the Rajasthan Royals’ franchise. Under his captaincy, the Royals finished as the runners-up in IPL 2022 season. He has also showcased his ability to hit sixes and fours with ease. Overall, he has smacked 3 centuries and 20 fifties. Sadly, two of those three centuries he scored ended in a losing cause. Sanju Samson scored 3888 runs in IPL at an average close to 30.
3. Virat Kohli
Virat Kohli is truly the best batsman in the world across all three formats of the game in international cricket. He is also the best in the business when it comes to IPL as he is the tournament’s leading run-scorer with over 7000 runs under his belt. Overall, he has slammed 7 centuries in IPL, the most by any cricketer in the IPL. Unfortunately, two of his IPL centuries came in a losing cause.
