While Gambhir was not happy with Rohit Sharma’s dismissal for attempting the wrong shot at the wrong time, Irfan Pathan heaped praise on Rohit Sharma, while talking to the broadcaster, Star Sports.
“Rohit Sharma played a captain’s knock. He was aggressive in the first few overs but adjusted according to the situation and demand of the game,” Irfan Pathan said on Star Sports. In reply to India’s target, England were bowled out for 129 as India won the match by a huge margin of 100 runs. Rohit Sharma was named the Player of the Match for his significant knock.
