While addressing the reporters in Hyderabad ahead of Tuesday’s warm-up game against Australia, Shadab Khan opined that it is tough to stop Rohit Sharma once he gets set at the crease. “I admire Rohit Sharma a lot and among the leading batters in the world, he is the most difficult to bowl to and once he gets set he becomes very dangerous.”
Rohit Sharma finished the 2019 edition of the ODI World Cup as the leading run-scorer as he piled up 648 runs at a remarkable batting average of 81. In the same mega-event, he became the first cricketer in history to hit five centuries in a single edition of the ODI World Cup, a record that still remains intact.
