The unpleasant ticket booking experience for fans for the upcoming ODI World Cup matches continued on Friday (September 8) during the latest round of sales. The ticketing process has been heavily criticized since the pre-sale last week (especially for MasterCard users). Bookmyshow, the official partner of the BCCI, has since put a certain number of tickets on sale in a phased manner over the last week. At each of these junctures, millions of fans have faced upheaval.
Even after waiting for a long time in the queue, he could not get the ticket due to some problem with the booking platform. Some netizens also checked the backend code of the booking software and claimed that Bookmyshow and BCCI are fooling common fans by selling very few tickets and withholding a major portion.
