Things went horribly south for Yash Dayal who got whacked for 5 sixes in an over against Rinku Singh in the match where KKR seized an absolute thriller. However, cricket can be beautiful for some while gory for others.
At times you make merry, and you leave the ground on the shoulders of your teammates while there are occasions where even your best friend eludes you. That is the tricky and turning road that you have to take on your way to stardom.
This is how things spiralled into madness for Yash Dayal
They say that it is a one-way ticket and yet a few return empty-handed while others climb the rungs of success at the expense of their crestfallen counterparts. In an interview given by Hardik Pandya, he clearly mentioned that Yash Dayal had fallen sick and somehow it is through the charts.
As soon as this news was dropped, the speculations began that it was the pressure of the game that left him rattled and he had no escape from the same.
Wriddhiman Saha, the wicket-keeper of GT, however, came out in public, bashing out all those who believe that it is the pressure that has gotten to Yash and that is why he is sick.
Here is what Wriddhimaan Saha had to say about Yash Dayal’s expensive over
Saha made it clear that the ones saying such hogwash haven’t got the faintest of ideas how things work in cricket. That is exactly where all these rumours spawn from.
Saha said, “Such things happen once in 1000 or one lakh matches. It was Rinku’s day, not Yash’s. His illness has nothing to getting hit for five sixes. It’s not game related. He has been suffering from heat fever. He has been unwell. Mentally he is okay. You have to face such situations. He didn’t get his yorkers right that night. We all have boosted him up. He’s better now. There is no connection with this match.”
