Based on the situation and dynamics of the game, only a few batters have managed to stick to the flow of the game and scored a century. Meanwhile, when it comes to the Indian cricket team, only three batsmen managed to score a century in the T20I series decider and let’s learn about them.
1. Rohit Sharma
England posted 198/9 in their quota of 20 overs in the T20I series decider at Bristol in 2018. In response, Rohit Sharma got off to a mesmerizing start and went on to score a match-winning century. He remained unbeaten on 100* off 56 balls and constructed his innings with the help of 11 fours and 5 hits over the fence.
His innings helped Team India chase down the target in 18.4 overs as India beat England by seven wickets to win the T20I series by 2-1. Rohit Sharma was named the Man of the Match for his blistering century.

2. Suryakumar Yadav
Suryakumar Yadav has undoubtedly been the best T20I batsman in the world ever since he made his debut. He is one of the three Indian batsmen to score a century in the T20I series decider in 2023. Suryakumar achieved the feat during the third T20I against Sri Lanka in Rajkot.
India posted 228/5 in their quota of 20 overs, courtesy of Suryakumar Yadav’s unbeaten 122 off 51 balls. He smashed 7 fours and 9 sixes in his blistering knock. In reply, Sri Lanka were bowled out for 137 as India won the game by 91 runs to clinch the T20I series.
3. Shubman Gill
Shubman Gill etched his name into the record books when he became India’s highest individual scorer in T20Is after he scored an unbeaten 126 against New Zealand in Ahmedabad in the 3rd T20I in 2023. India scored 234/4 in their quota of 20 overs, courtesy of Shubman Gill’s impeccable century.
In reply, the Black Caps were bundled out for a mere 66 and lost the game by a massive margin of 168 runs. Shubman Gill was named the Player of the Match for his scintillating heroics in the T20I series decider.
