2. Sachin Tendulkar
Sachin Tendulkar is widely acknowledged as the best batter in the history of the sport, courtesy of his stellar contribution to Indian cricket with the bat in both ODIs and Tests. He is the leading run-scorer in international cricket as he has aggregated 34,357 runs to his credit.
The Master Blaster comes second on the list as he smashed as many as 33 centuries in One-Day Internationals in wins. Sachin Tendulkar has scored a total of 100 centuries in international cricket (51 centuries in Tests and 49 centuries in ODIs).
3. Ricky Ponting
Ricky Ponting was one of the important backbones in the history of Australian cricket. He delivered the goods for the Australian cricket team as a captain, batsman and fielder. As a captain, he guided Australia to two ODI World Cup titles.
As a batsman, he is the leading run-scorer for Australia in both Tests and ODIs. Popularly known as “Punter”, Ricky Ponting scored as many as 25 centuries in One-Day Internationals in wins.
