1. Rohit Sharma – 7
Rohit Sharma is the only cricketer to have scored five centuries in a single edition of the ICC ODI World Cup and he achieved the feat during the 2019 edition in which he finished the tournament as the leading run-scorer with 648 runs at a remarkable batting average of 81. Overall, Rohit Sharma has hit a total of seven centuries in the World Cup, the most by a batsman in the history of the tournament.

2. Sachin Tendulkar – 6
India’s batting great Sachin Tendulkar comes next on the list as he smacked six centuries in the ICC World Cup, the second most by a batsman in the tournament. Notably, he is the leading run-scorer in ODI World Cup history with 2278 runs to his name including six centuries and 15 fifties.
3. Sourav Ganguly – 4
Sourav Ganguly has been one of the important pillars of Indian cricket history. He delivered the goods as a captain and batsman during the heydays of his career. He comes next on the list with four centuries in ODI World Cup history. The former Indian captain scored 1006 runs at an average of 55.88 including 4 centuries and 3 fifties.
