Madhav Apte still holds the record for becoming the youngest Indian opener to score 150 in a Test inning. He achieved the feat against the West Indies cricket team when he was 20 years and 137 days old. Madhav Apte ended up scoring an unbeaten 163* against the Caribbeans in 1953.

2. Yashasvi Jaiswal
Yashasvi Jaiswal made his presence count on the pitch while playing against the West Indies cricket team in the first Test match in Dominica. In his debut Test match, he went on to score his maiden Test century. He went on to score 150 in his first Test innings and ended up scoring 171 runs.
He composed his innings with the help of 16 fours and a six. He became the second-youngest Indian opening batter to score 150 in a Test and he achieved the feat at the age of 21 years and 196 days old.
3. Sunil Gavaskar
Sunil Gavaskar is widely acknowledged as one of the greatest opening batters of all time. He has achieved a plethora of things as a batter in the longest format of the game. Notably, he became the third-youngest Indian opener to score 150 in a Test.
Notably, he achieved the feat against the West Indies cricket team. Sunil Gavaskar achieved the feat at the age of 21 years and 277 days old.
