He achieved the feat in the third T20I against Australia in Guwahati wherein he remained unbeaten on 123* off 57 balls with the help of 13 fours and 7 sixes at a strike rate of 215.79. Notably, it is the highest-ever individual T20I score against Australia.

2. Brendon McCullum
Former New Zealand captain Brendon McCullum is considered one of the most aggressive and destructive batsmen in T20 cricket. His ability to provide explosive starts at the top of the order set the tone for the team, more often than not. Popularly known as “Baz”, he played a substantial role in shaping the aggressive nature of T20 cricket. He registered the second-highest score of 116 against Australia.
3. Martin Guptill
Former New Zealand opening batsman Martin Guptill has been a consistent performer at the top of the order, offering a blend of classical shots and aggressive stroke play and New Zealand immensely benefitted from his services. Guptill is particularly effective in the powerplays, often using his timing and placement to find boundaries. He registered the third-highest score against Australia in the shortest format of the game. He scored 105 against Australia.
4. Tillakaratne Dilshan
Former Sri Lankan cricketer Tillakaratne Dilshan was known for his ability to innovate and play unconventional shots, which added flair to his batting in T20Is. He is known for his trademark shot named “Dilscoop,” where he goes down on one knee and scoops the ball over the wicketkeeper’s head for a boundary. He registered the fourth-highest score against Australia in T20Is as he chipped in with 104.
