4 Indians with Most Ducks against a Team in international cricket-compressed

From a bowler’s perspective, it takes just a wicket-taking delivery to get the batsman out during the passage of the play. It is important for a bowler to read the batsman’s mind such that he can pose a threat to him, which makes the game a bit more competitive and healthier as well.

Getting dismissed for a duck is the worst-ever feeling for a batsman. When a batsman comes to the crease, the first step he takes is to get off the mark or open the account by taking a single, double or smash a four or six. This is how the batters announce their arrival at the crease.

Chances of tail-enders getting dismissed for a duck are high in number because they don’t know a thing or two to go about their work. At times, even the best batters have a bad day at the office by getting dismissed for a duck. In this article, let’s take a glimpse at the four Indians who registered the most ducks against a team in international cricket.

1. Ishant Sharma

India’s experienced fast bowler Ishant Sharma comes first on the list as he holds an infamous record of registering the most ducks against an opponent in international cricket. Ishant Sharma has registered as many as 13 ducks against Australia, the most by a cricketer in the history of Indian cricket.

3. Virat Kohli

Virat Kohli is currently the best batter across all three formats of the game. He has had struggles against England in his international career as he registered as many as 11 ducks against the Three Lions.

4. Harbhajan Singh

Harbhajan Singh has been one of the productive lower-order batters for India in Tests and ODIs as he played vital knocks for the team. He comes next on the list with 10 ducks against Australia.
