The Asia Cup is a men’s international cricket tournament that is contested among Asian countries. The continental event has been staged in One Day International (ODI) and Twenty20 International (T20I) formats. Nonetheless, only twice was the tournament held in the T20I format.

1. Rohit Sharma – 9
Indian skipper Rohit Sharma is widely acknowledged as the best opening batsman across all three formats of international cricket, without a shadow of any doubt. The flamboyant batsman has been a spectacular performer for Team India in the Asia Cup history.
He has also won an Asia Cup title as a captain. On top of that, he has equalled Sachin Tendulkar in terms of essaying the most 50+ scores in the Asia Cup (ODIs). Rohit Sharma achieved the feat during the Super 4 stage fixture against Pakistan in Colombo. The skipper has a total of nine 50-plus scores in the Asia Cup.

2. Sachin Tendulkar – 9
Legendary Sachin Tendulkar once topped the list in terms of garnering the most fifty-plus scores in Asia Cup (ODIs) history but was equalled by Indian captain Rohit Sharma recently. Sachin Tendulkar has a total of nine 50-plus scores in the Asia Cup history.
3. Navjot Singh Sidhu – 7
Navjot Singh Sidhu represented the Indian cricket team in 51 Test matches and 136 ODIs for India. He scored 3,202 runs in Test cricket and 4,413 runs in ODIs. On the other hand, he comes third on the list as he bagged as many as 7 fifty-plus scores in the Asia Cup history.
