2. Daryl Mitchell
If there is one batter apart from Kane Williamson who has been consistently scoring runs since the last few years, then it has to be Daryl Mitchell without the shadow of any doubt. Ever since making his Test debut for New Zealand in 2019, he has quite often lived up to his reputation as a batsman.
It is worth mentioning here that Daryl Mitchell has the second-best Test average of 56.5 as a New Zealand cricketer since 2020 (minimum 20 innings). Having played 18 Tests for the country, he aggregated 1316 runs at an exceptional batting average of 57.2. He smashed five centuries and eight half-centuries to his credit.
