Samiullah Shinwari who played across all three formats of the game has been a productive all-rounder for the Afghanistan cricket team. He scored 96 runs against the Scotland cricket team in the ICC Men’s ODI World Cup 2015. He missed out on a well-deserved century by just four runs.

4. Ikram Alikhil
Afghanistan cricketer Ikram Alikhil operates as a wicketkeeper-batsman for the Afghanistan national cricket team. He is known for his aggressive batting approach and his ability to keep wickets. His significant batting performance came during the 2019 ICC Cricket World Cup tournament in the group stage fixture against West Indies in which he scored 86. In the process, he became the youngest wicketkeeper to score a fifty in World Cup history as he achieved it in 18 years and 278 days.
