Sachin Tendulkar is the leading run-scorer in the history of the ODI World Cups with 2278 runs to his credit including six centuries and 15 fifties. It is worth noting that the Indian batting maestro scored four consecutive fifty-plus scores in the 1996 edition of the ODI World Cup.
