It was another dominant outing for the Chennai Super Kings as they outplayed the Sunrisers Hyderabad in clinical fashion, securing a victory by 7 wickets with almost 8 balls to spare. Abhishek Sharma was the highest scorer for Sunrisers Hyderabad with 34 from just 26 balls.
Rahul Tripathi tried his best to keep the clock ticking for the Orange Army. However, he couldn’t secure a late charge. Harry Brook did get in the groove early but couldn’t finish things off as he was removed for a paltry 13-ball-18.
Here is how CSK got the better of SRH
Ravindra Jadeja claimed 3 wickets for just 18 runs while Akash Singh and Matheesa Pathirana plundered 2 wickets between them, propelling the cause of Chennai Super Kings. However, the Chennai batters had no real difficulties in getting across the line.
Devon Conway managed to smash around a brilliant 77 from just 57 balls while Ruturaj Gaikwad smashed a brilliant 35 from just 30 balls. Mayank Markande claimed a couple of wickets but the danger was already delivered in the most phenomenal fashion as MS Dhoni-led Chennai Super Kings to another remarkable win.

This is what Dhoni had to say about Sachin Tendulkar
Dhoni talked about how stumping he impacted Mayank Agarwal and it was all over the place for the Sunrisers from then. Talking about the stumping, Dhoni said that it was just experience but their skillset would only matter if he was Sachin Tendulkar.
MS said, “A long time back I still remember one game – Rahul Dravid was keeping and he caught one like that. With your skill set, you can’t take a catch like that. You have to be in a very wrong position to be able to take a catch like that. Other than that once you get old and that’s when you get more experienced unless you’re Sachin (Tendulkar) and you start playing at 16-17.”
He would conclude by saying that he was actually in the wrong position but then at times, magic happens even being in the wrong position, only if you are able to keep things in check and in perspective.
