Mukesh Kumar took his First International wicket in the second Test match against West Indies. Mukesh came in the 52nd over of the West Indies innings. West Indies left-hander batsman McKenzie was batting at 33 runs in 95 balls. but maybe seeing a silly mid-on and mid-off in front of him, a shorter ball from Mukesh, and the ball further back he went to wicketkeeper Ishan Kishan for a simple catch. It was the second wicket of India’s innings, and the score of West Indies is 117/2. it rained heavily, and the teams returned to the pavilion. India scored 438, Virat scored 121 runs in 206 balls and Rohit scored 80 runs in 143 balls, the host team trailed by 321 runs.

Mukesh became the 308th Test player of India that receive the cap from Ravichandran Ashwin and although he did not take the field for the first two days, he was very emotional after taking her first wicket.
“Mom is saying you always be happy, keep progressing and my blessings are with you,” Thakur told BCCI after the call. “She doesn’t know what playing for India is, but her only wish is that her son keeps progressing. This is a very important moment for me.”
