Virat Kohli (RCB)

The former captain of the Royal Challengers Bangalore, Virat Kohli, stands at the top of the list of the batters with the most centuries in the IPL. In 237 matches, he got the chance to bat in a total of 229 innings and smashed 7 hundred and 50 half-centuries. Kohli smashed 7263 runs in the tournament with an impressive average of 37.24 and a strike rate of 130.02.

Chris Gayle (KKR/PBKS/RCB)

Chris Gayle stands in second place in terms of the most centuries in the Indian Premier League. He made a total of 6 centuries and 31 half-centuries in the IPL, including the best score in an innings of 175 runs, which is still the highest score in an innings by an individual in the tournament. Gayle achieved the milestone while playing against the Pune Warriors in the sixth edition of the tournament in 2013.

Jos Buttler (MI/RR)

Jos Buttler smashed a total of 5 centuries in the IPL and is the third player with the most centuries in the tournament. He has been a part of the Mumbai Indians and Rajasthan Royals in the tournament and has smashed 3223 runs at a batting average of 37.91 and a strike rate of 148.32. Jos Buttler is considered one of the most aggressive batters in the tournament, and his performances have also been very impressive in recent seasons of the tournament.

KL Rahul (PBKS/LSG/RCB/SRH)

KL Rahul is the fourth batter with most centuries in the Indian Premier League. He made a total of 4 centuries in IPL with the best score in an innings of 132* runs. Rahul scored a total of 4163 runs with a batting average of 46.77 and a strike rate of 134.42. He has represented four teams in the tournament including, Punjab Kings, LSG, Royal Challengers Bangalore and Sunrisers Hyderabad.

Shane Watson (CSK/RCB/RR)

Shane Watson made 4 centuries in the Indian Premier League and has represented three sides in the tournament. In 145 matches, he scored 3874 runs with a batting average of 30.99 and a strike rate of 137.91 including 21 fifties.
