1. Sachin Tendulkar

Sachin Tendulkar is the leading run-scorer in the history of Test cricket with 15,921 runs. He comes first on the list as he has the most top scores in a Test inning. The Little Master has a record 78 top scores in a Test inning.

The former Indian cricketer has smacked a total of 51 centuries, 5 double centuries and 68 half-centuries in Test cricket. Sachin Tendulkar registered his personal best score of 248* against Bangladesh.

2. Sunil Gavaskar

Sunil Gavaskar is widely acknowledged as one of the greatest opening batsmen of all time. The Indian batting great has 60 top scores in a Test inning, which is the second most by a player in the history of Indian cricket.

Sunil Gavaskar was the first Indian cricketer to score 10,000 runs in Test cricket. India’s batting maestro scored 10122 runs in Tests including 34 centuries, 45 centuries and 4 double centuries. He registered his personal best score of 236 against the West Indies cricket team.
