The T20I format is the most engaging and the most entertaining format in the world. In 20 overs that are allotted to a team, the players try their maximum best to unleash their full potential. The team that fancies the chances are destined to win the battle. Since the format has enough drama, it became a huge hit among fans.

For the record, the first-ever T20 International game was staged on August 17, 2004. England and Australia locked horns with each other at The Rose Bowl in Southampton, England. Australia won the game by 100 runs, which kick-started the beginning of the truncation version, which became the most popular format.

The International Cricket Council also introduced the World Cup for this format in 2007. Since then, several teams competed amongst themselves in the T20 World Cup events. West Indies and England have been most successful in T20 World Cup history as they have won two titles each.

On the other side of the coin, Team India, Pakistan, Sri Lanka and Australia won a title. Case in point, we will now take a look at the two teams that played 200 matches in Twenty20 Internationals.

1. Pakistan

Pakistan cricket team won their first T20I World Cup by beating the Sri Lankan cricket team in the 2009 World Cup final. The Green Shirts were the runners-up of the inaugural edition as they surrendered at the hands of India in the final encounter.

It is worth noting that they were the first team to play 200 games in their T20I journey. They have played 223 games so far wherein they won 134 games and lost 80 games with a win percentage of 60.08.
