1. David Warner’s impressive 178 against Afghanistan

Australia’s experienced campaigner, David Warner registered the highest score against Afghanistan in the ODI World Cup, which is the most by a current player. He scored 178 off 133 balls including 19 fours and 5 sixes.

He was named the Man of the Match for his batting masterclass. achieved the feat in the 2015 World Cup and his knock helped Australia post 417/6. In reply, the Afghans were reduced to 142 runs and lost the game by 275 runs.

2. David Warner’s stunning 166 against Bangladesh

David Warner registered 166 off 147 balls including 14 fours and 5 sixes against Bangladesh in the 2019 ODI World Cup, the most by a batter against the Tigers in the mega event.

His knock helped Australia post 381/5 and in reply, Bangladesh put up a great fight and scored 333/8. The Aussies won the game by 48 runs. Warner was named the Player of the Match for his batting work rate.
