3 Indians with the highest batting average against Australia in ICC matches

There is no better feeling than performing well against Australia and silencing them in the ICC events. Australian national cricket team, over the decades, have often announced themselves as a formidable force in ICC events.

They are the most successful team as far as the ICC events are concerned. Notably, they have won five ODI World Cups, two Champions Trophies, and 1 T20 World Cup and superbly decorated their trophy cabinet.

Some Indians, while playing against Australia, approached the game with a lot of intent and reaped rewards. Let’s dig deep about the names of the three Indians with the highest batting average versus Australia in ICC matches.

1. Virat Kohli

Former Indian skipper Virat Kohli simply loves scoring against Australia. He has time and again haunted them by playing the game with a lot of intent and aggression. He brought out the best in himself while playing against them and rightly so, he has the best batting average against Australia as an Indian. Virat Kohli has a batting average of 45.40 and scored 227 runs against them in ICC matches.
